Roy Avital is an established music artist and producer from Tel Aviv.

 

He has produced and mixed music for top artists and singers in the Israeli and international scene, including Asaf Amdursky, Ninet Tayeb, Hila Ruach, Oren Lavie, Jane Bordeaux, Totemo, Kino Todo, Omri Smadar, Beatfoot, and more.

 

He is mostly known for his work under the name "Garden City Movement", as a lead vocalist and producer.

The project has gained significant success over the past few years. It has garnered millions of streams on platforms like Spotify and YouTube, received media attention from magazines like Pitchfork and The Fader, got sync deals with Netflix, Hulu, FIFA 22 and Sephora, played on radio stations such as BBC1, BBC6, NTS, Glgltz, and featured at music festivals like Primavera and Glastonbury.


Additionally, he is well-known for his OST for Hadas Ben Aroya’s brilliant TV series 'Corduroy', for which he was nominated for 'Best Soundtrack' at the Canneseries official contest,.

Roy's new project is a solo producer project, featuring top artists and singers, ranging from A-listers to indie music artists. The project presents a fusion of UK underground inspired beats, R&B and pop hits, and indie gems, tastefully blended into a unique mixture.

 

The project spans over 2 unreleased albums -
A self titled debut producer album, that includes songs from recent productions, featuring high profile artists.
and a Soundtrack album - contains songs from the 'Corduroy' soundtrack, also featuring multiple high profile artists

 

With this project, Roy aims to create a unique blend of musical worlds, expressing his wide range of influences and productions, and collaborating with some of his favorite music artists, resulting in a rich and sophisticated sound.

 

As a live act, the project will have the ability to perform and feature multiple singers at big events, while also being able to tour with a smaller group.

 

This new project comes after a long struggle with social anxiety and it is a celebration of life and freedom, expressed through the love for the beautiful people and artists featured in it.
