Roy Avital is a musician, producer and sound artist.

 

Avital has been active in the music industry for more than a decade.

He is part of the "Garden City Movement" trio as a singer, composer and producer,

and among the various artists he collaborated with and produced in recent years are

Avishai Cohen, Totemo, Liron Amram, Oren Lavie, Noam Rotem, Roi Dahan, Arik Aber (Poetrey Slam), Tzlil Danin, Sivan Levy, Tesha, Atar Meiner and others.

 

Avital's productions have reached major stages in international festivals and have been featured in prestigious magazines and blogs (Pitchfork, The Fader, Fact, Mixmag, Stereogum, Noisey).

Reached millions of listeners from all over the world in the various media and leading playlists (MTV, BBC1, BBC6, KEXP, Boiler Room, Majestic Casual, Galgalatz, 88fm and others).

His works were selected as a soundtracks for TV series, films and commercials (Netflix, Sephora, people who are not me, and others), and were exhibited at the Tel Aviv Museum Of Art.

 

Avital's production process is characterized by the use and creation of abstract textures and spaces, combined with his ongoing preoccupation with ethnicity, with exceptional sounds and complex techniques, inspired by the worlds of Ambient, Experimental and Noise music.

All this while connecting the worlds of Hip Hop, Electronica and Pop music, into a unique language and sound identified with it.
